House rules
Final cleaning is always provided by Sanders and is paid at the time of booking. The cleaning is done by a high quality professional cleaning service to ensure the properties are spotless for the next guests to arrive.
You are expected to leave the house tidy at departure with the refrigerator and freezer emptied, dishes washed and put away and trash placed in the external bins provided. If in doubt, refer to the house rules on the description page of the property.
Extra cleaning during your stay can be provided for an extra fee.
We are committed to work in harmony with the environment by reducing our carbon footprint in any possible way. We would therefore appreciate it if you as a guest would join us in the effort by:
- Turning off the Air Conditioner when leaving the property to save energy.
- Separate the garbage in the provided bins according to the instructions in the property.
- Not order clean towels as extra service unless strictly necessary. This will help us cut down on water usage and cleaning products.
Sanders will not be responsible for changes in external circumstances to the rental property itself, as well as the limited enjoyment of the vacation stay as a result of such circumstances, including, but not limited to, road works, construction works near the rental home with scaffolding, closing of shops, facilities, etc., changes in opening hours, prohibition of bathing in beaches or swimming pools, and similar circumstances. Nor will Sanders be responsible in the event of insect infestations in the holiday home or on the land, nor for theft, damage or similar circumstances that affect the objects owned by the Guest.
Many of our properties have access to a pool - either private, shared or public. We love for you to use the pool as much as you like, but for safety reasons, all guests using the pool should follow the instructions provided on the pool area. Rules an regulations regarding pool areas may differ from property to property, so we advice our guests to always read and follow the rules that are applied the respective property. Children under the age of 16, are not allowed around the pool area or in the pool without the supervision of an adult.
We take our responsibility very seriously regarding the trust relationship between the property owner and ourselves and the guests. We understand that the owners are putting their homes in our hands and trust us to take best possible care of them. In order to maintain this trust we have installed a noise detecting device in most of the properties. The device, Minut, is a sensor designed to monitor noise and occupancy to ensure the peace and safety of the home and community, without recording sensitive data about people inside.
Minut only collects information on noise levels, the environment (temperature and humidity) and occupancy (motion and the number of mobile devices in the vicinity), but never raw audio recordings. Only processed data is shared from the device and by never storing the raw data it is made sure that no one gets access to sensitive guest data.
With this device we are able to sustain a safe and calm environment in all our properties without invading the privacy of our guests.
Furthermore, guests may occasionally be exposed to noise from construction, neighbours, traffic, etc. Sanders does not assume any responsibility for the inconvenience caused by unforeseen noise.
Smoking is strictly forbidden inside Sanders holiday homes unless expressly indicated.
Any damage clearly caused by smoking, including burn marks or holes in upholstery, will lead to replacement of the damaged item at the full cost of the guest.
In most of our properties pets are not allowed. However, Sanders can not guarantee that there have not been any pets in the house on prior occasions. We can therefore not assume any responsibility for the Guest’s allergic reactions in any of the rental properties.
If the Guest brings a pet to a property where pets are not permitted, Sanders is entitled to terminate the rental agreement with immediate effect and to oblige all occupants to vacate the rental property without further notice and with no refund.
The Guest is liable for any damage caused by pets in accordance with the existing damage agreement.
